GCA’s BreakingGround 808 program is back—and this year, open to all members! After a successful pilot last year that paired educators from five Oahu high schools with GCA member companies, we’re launching this transformative workforce development program with the goal of eventually reaching all public high schools across the state. Instead of teaching students directly, BG808 focuses on equipping the teachers and counselors who guide Hawaii’s students every day. Through six immersive days of classroom and hands-on field learning, educators will walk away with a deeper understanding of our industry and its diverse career paths.
