Construction Safety Hazard Awareness Training for Contractors Course

Description

This Construction Safety Hazard Awareness Training course is designed specifically for contractors.

 By attending this course, the Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) will meet the additional required certification as stated in the NAVFAC UFGS 1.6.1.1.1.  The SSHO must obtain the course certification within sixty (60) calendar days from award.

 This course will also cover the major revisions to the EM385-1-1.

Prerequisite:

  • 5 years of construction industry safety experience OR 
  • 3 years if he/she holds a Certified Safety Professional designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. or
  • safety and health degree

 Attendees must attend all five days.
 
 Upon completion of the course and passing 80% of the test, the Construction Safety Hazard Awareness Training for Contractors certification will be given.   Certificate will expire 3 years from date of issue.

Time

Class will start on October 1st then continue to the 8th, 15th, 21st and 22nd.
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
 "Participants must complete all sessions and pass a test in order to obtain certificate."

Pricing

$500 PER PERSON for GCA Members
$750 PER PERSON for NON Members
Registration fee includes Participant's Manual and lunch.

 Class reserved on a first come, first served basis.
 Please note!!   Full refunds will be made for cancellations received prior to this date.  After this date, no refunds will be granted.  Replacements accepted.

Class may be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met.
